Crosshatching Shader Tool


In this tool, the user is able to upload custom brush strokes, preview them in a shader in Maya (2013 with the new directX viewport), and export for use in Havok's Vision engine.  When exported, six tonal art-maps are compressed into two.  This is done by writing a new bitmap, and rewriting bytes of the previous three into the rgb channels.

We used the math for our Tonal Art Map generator from this paper.
